PRECISION
TECHNOLOGIES
ICONE is the first Zeiss Reference Center in Latin America and, in São Paulo, it is a hospital Powered by Zeiss Technology.
Here, technology is our ally in every detail.
ZEISS Artevo 800
In South America, ICONE is the pioneering hospital to install the world’s first 3D digital microscope with real-time OCT tomography. Highly precise surgeries—such as cataract, retina, cornea, glaucoma, and vision correction—are performed with greater safety, precision, and comfort for both surgeon and patient.
Catalys Precision
laser System
An eye scanning and femtosecond laser application system used in laser cataract surgeries. It enables more precise incisions, reduced trauma, and lower surgical risks.
Refrativa Zeiss Suite
An integrated system combining the VisuMax femtosecond laser, exclusive for performing the SMILE technique, with the Mel 80 excimer laser, used for PRK and Femtolasik procedures.
NGENUITY
An advanced high-resolution camera system that allows the surgeon to operate while viewing the procedure in greater detail through a large 3D monitor. In addition to improved image clarity, the system eliminates the need for high-intensity lighting, ensuring greater comfort for both patient and surgeon.
Ora System
A revolutionary technology that uses artificial intelligence to determine the exact intraocular lens during surgery, increasing the chances of achieving eyeglass independence for patients undergoing cataract surgery.
MIGS (Minimally Invasive Glaucoma Surgeries)
The use of an ocular stent (i-Stent) combined with endoscopic laser (ECP) reduces intraocular pressure with more safety than traditional glaucoma surgeries. In addition to MIGS, ICONE also offers MP3 laser, performed in a surgical suite, and SLT laser, applied in-office—both non-invasive technologies capable of long-term glaucoma control and repeatable as needed.
Crosslink Avedro
Used for treating and preventing keratoconus with innovative corneal collagen crosslinking technology using transepithelial pulsed ultraviolet energy, eliminating the need to remove the corneal epithelium. This means greater comfort and faster recovery for the patient.
Smile
Small Incision Lenticule Extraction is a major innovation in laser vision correction surgery, exclusive to VisuMax. Compared to LASIK, which uses a blade to prepare the flap, SMILE is less invasive, blade-free, with lower risk of complications, more comfort, and faster recovery. Additionally, the technique offers greater correction potential and does not cause permanent dry eye—a common LASIK complication.
Smile PRO
Smile PRO is the most advanced technology for minimally invasive laser refractive surgeries. Ideal for correcting myopia, astigmatism, and hyperopia, it offers exceptional precision and safety. Compatible with the VisuMax 800 laser, one of Zeiss’s fastest and most precise platforms. The technique ensures quick recovery and reduced post-op discomfort. With personalized treatment, it adapts to each patient’s needs, delivering more efficient results.
PRESBYOND
Presbyond is a revolutionary technology for treating presbyopia, commonly known as “aging vision,” which affects near vision in people typically over 40. Using the VisuMax femtosecond laser and the Mel 90, this procedure improves focusing ability at multiple distances—near, intermediate, and far. With personalized results and high precision, it’s an effective and modern solution.
Zeiss VisuMax
The most advanced femtosecond laser on the market. It is used for corneal transplants, keratoconus ring implants, Femtolasik surgery, and especially for the exclusive SMILE correction. ICONE São Paulo already features the VisuMax 800, the latest and most innovative version, capable of making extremely precise and controlled corneal cuts in a fraction of a second.
VISION SPA
ICONE now offers a new service in a welcoming and comfortable environment: the Vision Spa, where patients can receive dry eye treatment and a variety of aesthetic facial procedures, including non-surgical eyelid lift (Plexr), botox application, dermal fillers, and even cosmetic eyelid surgery (surgical blepharoplasty).
