ICONE has a new way of looking at the world. It is a hospital that was born with the experience of one of the pioneers in minimally invasive cataract surgery in Brazil and was designed with a unique structure to offer the most modern techniques in ophthalmologic treatments. We will always be by each patient’s side, working for a better vision of our present and our future.
The hospital was designed with an exemplary structure for performing exams, consultations, and the most advanced surgeries with maximum precision, safety, and comfort. It is the first Zeiss Reference Center in Latin America and has the first ARTEVO 800 in South America, the most advanced digital microscope in the world, which inaugurates a new era in ocular surgery.

One is located in the Jardins neighborhood, a prestigious area in São Paulo, and two are in Recife, in Boa Viagem and Espinheiro. The Eye Hospital was designed down to the finest details to offer the best and most modern in ocular treatments.

ICONE is the first Zeiss Reference Center in Latin America and a pioneer in several technologies, some of which are exclusive. Equipment such as the Zeiss Artevo 800, Catalys Precision Laser System, Zeiss Refractive Suite, Ora System, Ngenuity, and Operio are examples of constant investment in the most advanced ophthalmology technologies. The result is, of course, more precision, comfort, and, above all, safety for the patient.

Safety is essential in everything we do. ICONE, in addition to its Level II accreditation by ONA (National Accreditation Organization), a non-governmental, non-profit organization that certifies the quality of healthcare services in Brazil, maintains strict prevention practices and spares no effort in surrounding itself with technologies to minimize surgical risks. Currently, in Brazil, we are the only eye hospital to incorporate the Operio System into our surgical routine, which uses ultra-powerful air filters to almost eliminate the presence of particles in the surgical area, keeping instruments sterile throughout the process. This minimizes the possibility of infection.
