Completed Medical Residency in Ophthalmology at the Hospital dos Servidores do RJ. Certified Specialist in Ophthalmology by the Ministry of Education (MEC) and the Brazilian Council of Ophthalmology (CBO). Fellowship in Oculoplastics (Ocular Plastic Surgery) and Orbit at the University of São Paulo (USP), Ribeirão Preto. PhD in Ophthalmology from USP/Ribeirão Preto with a focus on the Morphophysiology of Facial Structures. Full member of the Brazilian Society of Ocular Plastic Surgery (SBCPO).
She is responsible for the Ocular Plastic Surgery and Orbit Diseases Department at Ícone da Visão in Recife, a preceptor for the Medical Residency Program in Ophthalmology at HC-UFPE, and heads the Ocular Prosthesis and Orbit departments at HC-UFPE.
