Graduated in Medicine from the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE). Completed Medical Residency in Ophthalmology at the Altino Ventura Foundation (FAV). Certified Specialist in Ophthalmology by the Brazilian Medical Association (AMB). Specialized in Clinical Retina at the Altino Ventura Foundation and in Ocular Ultrasonography and Neuro-Ophthalmology at the Paulista School of Medicine (Unifesp). She is a founding member of the Brazilian Association of Ophthalmology (ABNO).
